POSITION DESCRIPTION

 

 

POSITION TITLE:    Electricity/HVAC OR Building Trades Teacher at the Wise County Career Tech Center. 

 

FLSA:                       Non-Exempt

 

REPORTS TO:         Director

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Contingent Upon Position

 

Qualifications:

 

• Applicant must hold a valid journeyman or Master Electrician license and a minimum of two (2) years of successful experience at the journeyman level to qualify as an electricity teacher.  
• To qualify for HVAC the applicant must hold all appropriate state licensures for HVAC.   
• To qualify as a Building Trades instructor, the applicant must hold a certificate in Residential Construction and have a minimum of two years of successful experience at the journeyman level.  
• To qualify for any of these positions, the applicant must have at least four (4) years of successful work experience at the management or supervisory level.
